What is it used for?

Kraft paper is used to finish the back of your frames before attaching the hanging hardware.

How do I use the kraft paper?

Attaching kraft paper to the back of the frame is very similar to wrapping a gift. Measure the overall length and width of the back of your frame.  Tear a strip of kraft paper that will fit the width and length of your frame. 

(You will need double-sided ATG tape and a Trim Knife.)

After placing double-sided ATG tape along the back of your frame, line the kraft paper against the top and right hand side of the back of your frame. Slowly press the paper into the tape. Use your trim knife to remove the excess along the bottom and left side edges.  

Do I have to use kraft paper?

You do not have to use kraft paper to finish the back of your frames.  It is highly suggested as this gives a professional finished look to your framing.
