What is it used for?

Wall protectors are used to prevent your frame from scratching the wall. They also help anchor the frame in place to prevent it from sliding on the wall.

How do I use the wall protectors?

After you have placed your backing paper and affixed your hanging hardware, place one wall protector in bottom corners of your frame.

Note: Place the wall hanger so that it cannot be seen from the front, but in an area that will touch the wall.

When should I use the brown, clear, or grey felt wall protectors?

Each of the wall protectors serves the same purpose.

The brown wall protectors are serviceable. As the wall protectors are not to be seen, they do the job economically.  The clear wall protectors give a more upscale look. They are still made from a “rubber” like material.  The grey felt wall protectors are more upscale. They are softer to the touch and give the appearance of elegance.

Again, if placed correctly, no one will see the wall protectors. The question is one of aesthetics.
